You have been given the job of being a reporter for THE BIBLE TIMES BELIEVE IT OR NOT paper. Sharpen your pencil, look up the verse in Bible and write a HEADLINE and short story for each.

GAMES: Shoe Box Challenge
- Outline shoe box on the floor with masking tape.
- Start with I person standing in the box.
- Next have someone else stand in the box with you. You can’t help anyone.
- See how many people can stand in the shoebox.
- Next round stand on one foot. Stay within box for 1,2,3, minutes without falling over or going outside tape lines.
Addition: 5+5 = ?
- Choose one person to call out numbers to add together. (keep numbers under 10).
- Choose one person to call out answer.
- Begin. Call out 5 plus 2
- Meantime on sidelines have rest group or family try to distract person by calling out wrong answer e.g.: 5 plus to 2 = 3, 4, 2.
- See how long player can stay focused on right answers.
PRESCHOOLER GAMES: HIDE AND SEEK
- Pick up some glow sticks at dollar store.
- Make a room as dark as you can.
- Hide the glow sticks around the room. Make sure your child is outside the area you are hiding the glow sticks.
- Blindfold your child or have them close their eyes.
- Take them into the room and have them find the glow sticks. They love it.
BOWLING:
- Set up empty water bottles.
- Have soft ball or nerf ball.
- Have the child stand back several feet than roll a soft ball or a small nerf ball down the hallway or across floor see how many can knock over.
Games: EARLY CHILDHOOD
DANCE.
Turn the music on and let them jump to music. Children do this at school and are used to this activity.
BUILD:
Take a blanket and drape over chair or small table. Have kids take sheet of paper and color blue. Place around tent/fort as a river. Have a picnic lunch inside. Climb in mom and dad. Sleep overnight.
Games: GRADE 1 &UP
CHARADES: Act out unfamiliar bible characters. (giant 12 fingers and 12 toes.
SPY: Go around room before hand and make a list of items that are hard to identify. Small objects. Pictures.
